We have received a number of calls and emails regarding concerns over the sudden directives from school districts to provide services via telepractice during the outbreak of COVID-19. WSLHA is hosting a Q & A forum about telepractice on March 26th at 12:00 pm. There is no registration fee and it is open to members and non-members. We will discuss:

ASHA guidelines for telepractice, including the Code of Ethics
Current WA state laws and guidelines for telepractice
HIPAA and FERPA compliance
Strategies and materials for providing teletherapy and keeping students engaged

WSLHA Scholarship Donation 2024

WSLHA offers a scholarship to selected WSLHA student members who will be attending an advanced degree program for speech-language pathology. An additional scholarship was added to be awarded to a minority graduate students who identifies as a minority.
