I do not like my CF supervisor; can I file a complaint through WSLHA?

WSLHA does not handle complaints about CF supervisors directly, but we can provide guidance on the appropriate steps to take. If you have concerns about your CF supervisor, consider the following:

  1. Address the Issue Directly – If possible, communicate with your supervisor about your concerns to seek a resolution.

  2. Reach Out to ASHA – If your supervisor is ASHA-certified, you can contact ASHA’s Clinical Fellowship support team for guidance or file a formal complaint if there is a violation of ASHA’s Code of Ethics.

  3. Check State Licensing Regulations – If your supervisor is violating Washington State licensure requirements, you may report concerns to the Washington State Department of Health.

  4. Seek Support from WSLHA – While WSLHA does not process complaints, we can connect you with professional resources, mentorship, and guidance to navigate challenges in your CF experience.
