Course Description
This seminar will focus on dual language learning in children and highlight current research and how demographic patterns across the U.S. are changing clinical and educational caseloads. Presenters will address assessment of speech and language disorders, present evidence-based interventions and share a clinical protocol for evaluating dual language learners.

Who Should Attend?
While content is primarily geared towards speech-language pathologists, it is applicable to anyone working with children who are acquiring two oral languages either simultaneously or sequentially. This includes educators, school administrators, educational psychologists, developmental specialists, pediatricians, audiologists, and parents of children learning dual languages.
Registration is free. American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) continuing education credits will be offered. OSPI Clock Hours are pending approval and may be available for a nominal fee.
